Welcome to Pinecliff Cockers!   We are a small breeder of American Cocker Spaniels located in the beautiful lake community of Pinecliff Lake, West Milford, New Jersey, dedicated to breeding healthy, gorgeous cocker puppies with gentle and loving dispositions.  Having owned and raised cockers for more than 20 years, I can tell you they will steal your heart forever.  At Pinecliff Cockers, all of our puppies are born in my home and are raised underfoot, completely socialized with other dogs and cats, children and adults.
They are spoiled and loved from the time they enter this world until the time they enter yours!

November 14, 2009.   What an exciting day!  Emily's puppies First Birthday Party reunion was a blast!   With almost all of her puppies present, Emily greeted everyone with kisses and got the party going.  Jake and Mary were the first to arrive with their family the Crevinas, followed quickly by the Carlsons and Oscar.  Ben, Madison, the chihuahua's Henry and Walter, and an occasional cat joined the party.
Refreshments were served, including pupcakes, cocker cookies, liver brownies (compliments of Paulette), and more.  Special thanks to my sister Linda for making the beautiful personalized photo albums!   What a wonderful day it was!   For more pictures, click here.

Emily and Puppies ...

It's been a while since I have had a moment to update the site.  For those of you who don't know, Emily had a very difficult time with her delivery.  She spent 4 days at the animal hospital, but thankfully is home and recovering very nicely.   It breaks my heart to tell you that we lost three of our dear little ones, Charlotte, Jack and Theodore.  I still can't think about it without losing my breath.   Fortunately, Claire, Barry (who's new name is Finnegan!) and Grace are doing very well and have kept us very very busy.  Since Emily was unable to nurse, Sandy and I have taken over "mommy duties" and for the past 8 days have been bottle-feeding our little babies every two hours 24/7.  It is only in the last couple of days that the number of feedings per day have been reduced (giving me this window of opportunity to update you!).  They are getting big and should start opening their eyes in the few days.

I want to thank everyone for all of your prayers, thoughts and good wishes. It has meant the world to me.  To my sisters Linda, Marianne and Traci for babysitting and cooking, to my sister-in-law Loretta for lunch and playing with the rest of the crew to the point of exhaustion (not to mention poop-patrol!), to Lisa Cascone for taking the cockers for walks, to Paulette for the great soups and babysitting and just being here, to Allison for your advice and babysitting so I could get even a few hours of shut-eye, to Linda M. for taking care of my "work stuff",  Terry of NJ Beagles for her advice and kindness particularly in trying to get the puppies to nurse from one of her beagle girls, to the Mantione family for letting Sandy spend so much time here helping me, and  of course to Sandy for your unwavering support.  I thank God for each and every one of you!

Thank you again!                Lisa
