CHOOSING A PUPPY

You may choose your puppy from our website pictures. I will happily (and proudly!) provide additional photos upon request. Next I would require that you post your non-refundable deposit (see below for deposit and payment information). Puppies are generally ready to go to their new homes at 8-10 weeks of age. You may pick your puppy up, or we are willing to drive part of the way to deliver your puppy into your waiting arms, allowing you to spend time with your baby as you bring him or her to their new home. We are located in northern New Jersey, so please be guided accordingly. Your puppy will come with their favorite toy, their favorite blanket with their mother's scent, and a very special Pinecliff Cockers gift. We also offer shipping at a flat rate of $325 which includes airfare, travel crate, travel to airport, health certificate and of course all of the items listed below.

Our puppies are "home grown"! They are born and raised in my home, completely socialized with other dogs, cats, children and adults. This is one of the reasons Pinecliff Cockers are in such high demand. A loving disposition is just one of the things our puppies are known for. From the day they are born, they are cuddled, snuggled, kissed, play-groomed*, and most of all loved. And they give that love right back! *Play-grooming means we start playing with their feet and lightly brushing and combing them so that grooming your puppy will come easily!

PURCHASING A PUPPY

Puppy pricing is determined by pedigree, sex, conformation, markings, and sometimes age. A deposit of $200 is required to hold a puppy. This is non-refundable, however it may be transferrable to another available puppy. We do not sell our puppies to brokers, puppy mills or pet stores. Please do not ask! Our puppies are sold to loving homes only! Payment in full is required when you pick your puppy up. We accept credit and debit cards (through Paypal...go to www.Paypal.com to register), money orders, or cash. Please no personal checks.

HEALTH RECORDS AND CERTIFICATES

All of our puppies receive age-appropriate rounds of deworming and first round of distemper/parvo/coronavirus shots. All puppies will have their dew claws removed and tails docked. They will come vet checked by

Greenwood Lake Animal Hospital of Hewitt, NJ together with their Certificate of Health, our health guarantee of one-year for any life-threatening diseases, as well as their favorite toy and a blanket with their mother's scent to ensure their comfort in their transition to your home. You will receive a Puppy Packet outlining their date and time of birth, ongoing growth record, deworming and shot dates, as well as first month dose of heartworm medication.

AKC PUPPIES

AKC registration papers are provided on all puppies who's dam (mom) and sire (dad) are AKC registered. They are provided on what is called Limited registration. What this means is that these puppies are being sold as pets only and will not be able to be shown for conformation or used for breeding purposes. They can participate in Agility Trials, Obedience and Rally and sporting events. We reserve the right to sell for breeding rights, this will be determined on an individual basis. Your puppy's AKC paperwork will be forwarded to you upon our receipt of your vet's confirmation that your puppy has been spayed or neutered.

NON-AKC PUPPIES

Occasionally we have puppies that are non-AKC. They will always be purebred American Cocker Spaniels, however, either the dam or sire are not AKC registered. All the same puppy policies apply. ALL of our puppies receive our utmost devotion, AKC papers or not!

MICRO-CHIPPING:

Micro-chipping is available for an additional charge of $50.
